This is my number one choice. Read about it here.
Earth4Energy gave me the best plans, the most complete information, and even a list of supplies and their sources. That was one of the most helpful parts of the whole project.
I strongly urge you to check out Earth4Energy right now.

HME Review

This is my second choice for building your own solar system. The author and inventor of this product, Bill Ford, is extremely passionate about the environment and helping people save money. He definitely knows what he is talking about. Had I not had so much success with Earth 4 Energy, I would give this my stamp of approval.

HomemadeEnergy has several step by step diagrams that teach and instruct you on how to create your own, in-home power supply. The easy instructions and diagrams aid you in the construction of either a solar panel system or a windmill system. That may be where I got a little side-tracked. With both options, Solar and Wind, I didn’t feel as though the details were completely behind either one. The product does promote the consumption of renewable sources of energy instead of being fully dependent on electricity, which is from non-renewable sources.

Remember, O’le Sam is just a rookie but, if you spend a little time trying to implement everything then you will save money off your monthly power bill. I think the reason why I personally was able to build my solar panel easier with Earth 4 Energy is because of the great step by step instructions.

Bill does offer a 60 day guarantee and stands behind his product. In addition, if you purchase the product, you also have the opportunity to purchase an add-on at a steep discount. I was tempted, but decided to stay with just the original. Here are some additional comments from people who have purchased this system and loved it.

I’m so glad I tried your system. I made my first solar panel this weekend and I wanted to let you know it’s awesome. With your diagrams work was a breeze. Only one panel saves me a big chunk of electricity. Next weekend I’ll do another one. Most likely with 2 or 3 of these I will be able to eliminate my electric bill for good.

Thank you very much,

Mr Ford,After reading your book I’ve decided to go with the solar system. Although it’s very rainy in UK, there is enough Sun to power it up.

In UK the price of electricity is probably bigger than in US. So I don’t know if you realize how great this is for our money savings.

By the way, you’ve put a lot of work in the HomeMadeEnergy guide and it shows. I want to congratulate you for doing this.

A very happy client,

My 3rd choice on the market. Again, O’le Sam is looking for the easiest way to learn something.

This guide is also very clear and easy to follow. It has full pictures to help make the directions easier to follow. Unfortunately, the directions were still a little harder than my #1 guy.

The videos are the best part of the package. Its the reason, that Green DIY Energy stayed in the top 3. They cover the entire DIY solar panel build step-by-step from start to finish. You actually get to watch him build a solar panel right in front of you. At the end, he connects the panel up to a meter and you get to see it produce electricity!

Green DIY Energy also has a 60 day gurantee, and like my other 2 picks you won’t be tempted to use it.
