Very interesting article about solar power and how to do it in home. But I have to admit that the main problem and the most expensive things are the photovoltaic panels. The price is different but from what I know it is about 6$ per Watt. It is great to have independent electrical system but the price is enormous. It is not profitable at all at this moment.
